Just a quick rant about the new Blogger captcha experience - see image left.
Never thought I would long for the old days when I only had to decipher and type five or six letters (instead of a dozen squirrely ones) to make a short comment on a blog. Come on folks. Take captcha off for a bit and see if you really get all that much spam. I get none because, in part, I do not allow anonymous commenters.
I really think the captcha is a pain. I think I removed it from my blog. Let me know if it is still there.

ReplyDeleteI allow anonymous replies, but blooger does a good job of blocking them. No captcha for me!
ReplyDeleteIt was because you said something that I disabled mine. I don't allow anon comments anymore (I never really had any to begin with), and have gotten zero spam. YAY!

ReplyDeleteYes, it's crazy. I never had them because since it is a pain to me, it will be a pain to others. And so I will suffer those few spam comments for their sake. I did get some spam, but quite rare. And I hope I did not speak too soon!
