Should Tim Tebow be Silent?
I love how so many people are talking about how Tim Tebow acknowledges God on the football field. I love how his actions make some feel uncomfortable. I think that it is great how some even feel a need to mock him. It reminds me of what the Apostle Paul once wrote to the Philippians:
"But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice."
I love Tim's comments to ESPN in this news clip and I rejoice that he is bringing attention to Christ in this wonderful season of Christmas. After all, Jesus is the reason for the season. :)
What do you think about Tim's bold actions?
Should Tim Tebow keep quiet?

I think Tebow is bold and why not? He gave a great answer.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of answers, I love your answer to my "pile of Rocks".
Oh you gotta love Tebows boldness... I am encouraged to be bolder in my own little corner of the world. Go Tebow....
ReplyDeleteI think the idea we can expect to communicate Jesus to world, that in many cases does not want to hear it, without saying something, is somewhat naive. I am in favor of more bold (though not obnoxious) proclaimers like Tom Tebow.
ReplyDeleteOf course not.
ReplyDeleteI've not heard what he has to say. I will say that if he's living his life as a Christ follower, then giving Christ a "shout out" (no matter how that makes me cringe) is fine. It's the people who only seem to do that with their mouths and not their live that I have a problem.
