I am thankful for our troops!

Right back at you! I am thankful that we as a nation had the foresight to maintain an armed forces, but I cannot not find anything to be thankful for them, other than providential safety and care, when they are not defending freedom, protecting our borders, or engaged in a meaningful objective; merely being used as pawns and political tender by politicians who only care about being re-elected at the cost of the troops.
