The Eyes of the world are upon you.Today we look back and remember those who risked everything for freedom.. and those today who still risk it all for our country. May God bless those who serve.

ReplyDeleteBut as I said on Facebook, it's remarkable to think of the West so united in cause and perspective. Obviously that started unraveling pretty quickly in the latter half of 1945. It's pretty amazing to think about what the soldiers, sailors and airmen accomplished, and scary to consider what would have happened if the invasion was turned back - did the Allies have a Plan B? Talk about putting all your chips on the table...
