..alas, it is a show about nothing :)
It took me a long time (I've matured) to finally get that Seinfield was a very clever parody on life in America. A lot of people were frustrated with the last show - but I thought it was an unveiling. The final show revealed that the show was not just a humorous voyeristic adventure of watching some thirty-somethings conduct their dysfunctional relationships. Rather, the show was a mirror into the soul of the narcissistic culture of which we all are a part - and we were laughing at ourselves all along. We really don't enjoy seeing ourselves in quite such glaring light. As your selected quips reveal, Seinfeld poured it on ... and we loved every minute of it until the end.
