December 21, 2008: Today is a sad day in Kansas City Chief football. It is the last Sunday in forty years that 96 year old Tony DiPardo and his band will be playing at Arrowhead for Chiefs' home games. They have been evicted due to renovations at Arrowhead that do not include space in the endzone for the band. Today they will honor Tony at the stadium.. as I honor him here today. Blessings to you Tony.. you have been there in good times and bad.. the games just won't be the same without you!

He loved everybody he met and it seems everybody loved TD. Daddy loved to pray, and right now I have to believe that he’s on his way to heaven and Lamar and Hank and Derrick and Buck and just so many more friends and family are welcoming him and making plans for their own Super Bowl Party.”
May those who were blessed to know Tony during his 98 years find peace in the hope of Heaven.
