When I was a working stiff, as opposed to just stiff, I drank coffee while I worked when I had an office job, and I took coffee breaks only when I was a construction worker. It's just as necessary to take a break from "mental" activity as "physical" activity. I think most office workers take "breaks" during their work day but less often as a group and not according to time clock.
