Justine Henin retired from tennis Wednesday, an abrupt ending to a short and successful career in which she won seven Grand Slam singles titles and leaves while ranked #1. She is the first woman to quit the sport while atop the WTA rankings.
I gotta believe she'll be back. Just a couple of weeks ago she posted on her blog how she was looking forward to the season and the French Open. She's only 25! I don't know what's up. But, this sounds like a snap decision to me. Whether it's a few weeks, a few months or a couple of years, I'd be willing to bet she'll be back.
