Ukrainian veterinarian Leonid Stadnik is 8 feet 5 inches tall. He is the world's tallest living man according to the Guinness Book of Records. In this picture he is riding a bicycle specially made for him. He lives in a village west of Kiev. Stadnik's growth spurt started at age 14 after a brain operation apparently stimulated his pituitary gland. Stadnik, 37, is still growing up.
He would be helpful to have around when I am cleaning the top shelf of my cabinets!
