With "Phil for President" signs all around him.. and in what seemed to be darkness.. America's most famous groundhog emerged from his burrow early on Saturday and declared that winter will last another six weeks.Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow shortly before 7:30 a.m. to the cheers of more than 30,000 people from as far away as Alaska and Texas.
With Super Tuesday just a few days away.. maybe if we really get the word out.. we can get a write-in campaign going for candidate Phil.. maybe not :)
He's a one-issue candidate... good on that issue, I'll grant him that, but still, not ready on Day One to lead our nation! But I think he could be in line for a plum cabinet post.
