Will Anyone Notice Wyoming Caucuses?
By MEAD GRUVER
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Don't forget Wyoming. It's been overlooked in the hoopla surrounding Thursday's Iowa caucuses and next week's New Hampshire primary, but Wyoming Republicans will caucus Saturday and choose delegates to the national convention in September.
Candidates have paid little attention to the state, though.
Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul have passed through since September. Mike Huckabee, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have not.
"Yes, there have been some appearances by the candidates in this state that otherwise wouldn't have occurred this early in the process," said Jim King, who teaches political science at the University of Wyoming. "But candidates are where the media are — in Iowa and New Hampshire."

Romney really needs to rack up some tremendous numbers up here. You know I'll do my part. I'm trying to encourage my undecided wife to swing over to Mitt's camp with me.
Tuesday can't get here fast enough!
Hey DK.. What you said sounds a lot like what Hillary is saying.. not the best of company :)
ReplyDeleteI, like you, like Mitt and hope that he does well in your primary. I am also warming up to Mike.. not sure that I like it though.. feels like I am being sucked into a cult.. sort of.. not really.. he is just the best communicator that the Elephants have.. hard to get used to after Bush :)
