
Democratic caucusers turned out with more than twice the numbers that Republican voters did. Democrats estimated turnout at 239,000, and nearly 115,000 Republicans took part. I wonder if these number are reflective of the general malaise that Republicans across the country are feeling. I wonder if the real story in Iowa is that a new generation of voters is beginning to engage in the great American political process. I hope so.
And of course I have to own up to
my missed predictions.. hey at least I picked second place in each race :(
