According to this story:
This shadowy something is what someone says is a photo of the Loch Ness monster in Scotland. An amateur scientist claims he has captured what Loch Ness Monster watchers say is among the finest footage ever taken of the elusive mythical creature reputed to swim beneath the waters of Scotland's most mysterious lake.I've wondered about Nessie when I was younger but hadn't given her much thought for years. Can't wait until this one gets out on YouTube!!
Bob, it's already on YouTube; here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2wQn0ty6kg.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I am going to go look, I've always been intrigued by her too, she seems like a nice sea monster.
ReplyDeleteSorry, there's no Nessie. Loch Ness has been observed to create Nessie-like standing waves during certain tremors, but there's nothing in Loch Ness that could keep a family of Nessies fed centuries (since Columba was the first known sighting - ca 500AD.)
ReplyDeleteUnless you want to say Nessie is an incarnation of something spiritual.
